Dear Parent,

We are happy that you are interested in our boarding school.

Due to our experience we know, that there are a variety of reasons, why you want your child to be in a boarding school.
The school that meets all your imaginations and expectations is not in reachable distance to your place of living. You wish to have a variety of possibilities to study, more challenge, personal encouragement, the further of special talents or support to overcome studying barriers.

You think for a good reason that it will help your child to get more independent. We, the staff of the “Hans Wallisch Haus"� understand ourselves as a living place, a completion and enrichment for Boys and Girls to give them a choice for new experiences. As a Parent you know how important it is that your children grow up in good terms.

You know that it needs more than just a good exam for teenagers to become viable adults.
You expect that your children learn to have high expectations on themselves, as well as becoming reliable and being considerate, learning to be responsible and to find the courage to deal with difficulties.
You wish for your children to grow up in a tolerant and open-minded environment.

In our boarding school we make sure, that your children grow up with other Teenagers in an orderly community. Learn to put their interests and the interests of others in a balanced condition, with and from Adults. Who meet them outside lessons, have time for them, listen to them, giving answers and help with their studies if necessary. In small groups they work out together questions, develop new interests and at the same time acquire new abilities and skills, which are serviceable for the exam. Make Friendships that sometimes even last a lifetime.

Through talks and discussions with people their same age and adults about present and future problems, get convinced about important questions of life, come to conclusions and learn to stand up to them.

Doing a lot of things where there is no possibility to do them at home: like artistic work, making music together, doing sports, Parties, organizing common projects, taking responsibility, represent their own interests and the one from others and to gain self confidence and independence from this experience.
